The partnership will see\u00a0Parcel Pending by Quadient<\/u>\u00a0parcel lockers installed at 230 Morrisons Daily stores by spring 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All of Morrisons circ. 1,000 wholly owned Morrisons Daily convenience stores have a parcel solution offer and this new partnership will enable consumers to pick up and return parcels securely from Royal Mail, Evri, DPD and UPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Michael Weightman, Convenience Trading Director at Morrisons, said, \u201cCustomers have told us that they want a broader range of services when it comes to parcel pickups and returns so we\u2019re delighted to be expanding the options available at our Morrisons Daily stores via this partnership with Quadient.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Quadient\u2019s\u00a0consumer research\u00a0shows that people appreciate the positive impact businesses make by hosting lockers, for instance reducing traffic on local roads by decreasing the volume of delivery van journeys. The research also uncovered a tangible benefit for retailers; when visiting lockers hosted at stores, more than half of consumers make additional purchases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOur lockers seamlessly integrate into people\u2019s daily routines, making parcel pickup and drop-off more convenient than ever. Customers returning items may use the lockers\u2019 built-in label printer, meaning they may send items back even if they don\u2019t have a printer at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Quadient continues to expand its locker network across key markets in the U.S., Japan and Europe.
